AWAKENING OF HUMANITY

In 2015 Nepal was hit by destructive earthquake that shook us to the core. All we cud see was destruction , agony as well as bold act of humanity.As an artist I cudnt help my self from expressing through colors and forms .

 

This painting of mine is a symbolic display of awakening of humanity at the time of disaster. That damaged clock symbolized time of disaster where as I have removed "12" from the clock to emphasize on the time when earthquake took place. As we miss someone or something as they go missing

 Two hands of dark and light color is symbol of multi religious , multi cast , multi race people helping eachother . People from different cast and culture turn out just into human. And everyone was helping eachother

 Instead of using single canvas of 48"*60"I attach two canvases of 48"*30 + 48"*30". Because I wanted to creat unerasable line in canvas as that memory of that earthquake is also hard to erase form memory of Nepalese who faced it
